Consecutive interpreting is an interpreting technique which the speaker talks for a short period of time and the interpreter translates that segment of speech immediately after into the required foreign language. It requires a short briefing about the subject, objectives of the primary parts and It is frequently used for court sessions, audiences, auditions, meetings with lawyers, meetings with notaries, medical consultations, social workers’ meetings, police auditions, small conferences and reunions.
